You're near the start. Good. You can set this up the right way from here.
You can play. You're just stuck. That's the easiest spot to fix once you practice the right things in the right order.
The biggest problem people at your level have is that they don't know how to apply the stuff. I know it, I can play it, now what?
Your practice time
That's how I'd split your time. Most of it goes to your main problem. The rest goes to what's feeding it.
Did I get your main problem right?

From my students · Google reviews
"I've had a guitar for 20 years and never learned to play it. I knew some chords but couldn't piece them together so I would get frustrated and not play for a while then try again only to repeat the cycle."
Mike L. · Google review
"As an adult beginner, I struggled trying to learn with online instruction. I’ve made more progress in a few months with Zach than I did during the entire time I spent on my own."
Bryan · Google review
"Been taking lessons for 3 months. I am older and have just recently decided to learn guitar. Zach has been patient and understanding."
Robert S. · Google review
"Had gotten as far as I could go on my own being self taught so I went to Zach Adkins for some lessons. Best money I have spent on music lessons! Learned more in 4 lessons than I have in a half dozen years!"
Taylor F. · Google review
"I've been taking lessons from Zach for a couple of months now. Even though I've played guitar for over 20 years, my skills have increased significantly. I've learned theory and techniques."
Mike S. · Google review
"I've played guitar off an on for about 15 years, but am 99% self-taught and had pretty much reached a plateau. I've taken a lesson or two with teachers before and have been underwhelmed."
Andrew W. · Google review
"I have been playing for over 30 years and I finally found someone who could help me understand how the modes work."
Fred H. · Google review
"I encourage anyone wanting lessons to seek Zach out. He is an amazingly talented player and has the ability to translate those techniques in a way anyone can understand."
Craig P. · Google review
"I've had several guitar instructors over the years and Zach is by far the best out there."
